Please reach us at Preptherapyinfo@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. Your session will still end at its originally scheduled time so that your therapist does not run late for the next client.
Please note the 15-Minute Rule: If you arrive 15 minutes or later to your scheduled appointment, your session is officially forfeited. To uphold high clinical standards and client safety, our therapists will not perform partial or compressed treatments (e.g., a 10-minute session). Arriving 15 minutes or later will be treated as a late cancellation, and the standard $40.00 (+ HST) fee will apply.
If you miss a scheduled appointment without notifying the clinic prior to your start time, it is recorded as a No-Show. A $40.00 (+ HST) fee will automatically be applied to your account. This fee must be paid in full prior to booking or attending your next session.
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, a $40.00 (+ HST) late cancellation fee will be charged to your account and must be paid prior to rescheduling your next appointment. We understand that life happens and are always focused on your best interests. Please let us know as soon as possible if you will not be able to make your appointment so we can reschedule your appointment in a timely manner.
Certified Athletic Therapists specialize in the assessment, prevention, immediate care, and active rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. While we treat athletes of all levels, our primary focus is on functional movement, active mechanics, and physical reconditioning for anyone looking to live and move without pain. We don't just treat symptoms—we look at the whole system to find the root cause of your discomfort.
Your initial 60-minute session includes a detailed health history review, a comprehensive movement assessment, and hands-on clinical evaluation. We will discuss your specific goals, explain what is happening in your body, and create a personalized, active recovery plan—including home exercises to empower your healing process.
We believe that long-term recovery requires more than passive table treatments. While hands-on therapy provides crucial relief, real transformation happens when you actively load, strengthen, and educate your tissues. Our care model combines clinical assessment, hands-on treatment, movement re-education, and lifestyle/nervous system regulation.
Yes! Most major private health insurance providers in Canada cover Athletic Therapy under extended health care plans. Because coverage varies depending on your specific plan, we recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your exact benefits for Athletic Therapy.
We issue detailed digital or paper receipts with all required practitioner registration numbers immediately after your payment is processed. You can easily submit these receipts directly to your insurance provider for quick reimbursement through your provider’s app or online portal.
Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting athletic clothing (such as shorts, a t-shirt, or a sports bra) that allows your therapist to easily assess and move the joint or area being evaluated.
